Maharam

A fourth generation family-run company that celebrated its centennial in 2002, Maharam pioneered the development of engineered textiles for commercial application. Though product performance defines contract textiles, Maharam strives to create innovative materials through in-depth exploration of pattern, material and technique. Maharam pursues a holistic approach to design, embracing a range of disciplines including architecture and interiors, furniture, fashion, accessories, graphic and digital design. The Maharam Design Studio is responsible for the development of an extensive textile collection and maintains a strong focus on new technologies and cultural markers, often finding inspiration beyond the textile industry, including collaborations with avant-garde industry outsiders.

Camira

Camira is an award winning UK textile innovator, which designs and manufactures its own unrivalled range of distinctive, environmental wool upholstery textiles. They feature unique European styling and quintessential British tailored design in deep-dyed intensely saturated color palettes. In North America the fabrics are stocked in Indianapolis and serviced by the yard. Camira does business on a global basis, selling 10 million yards annually to over 70 countries worldwide. The company is registered to ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment) and is a holder of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development.

Carnegie

Carnegie is owned by the same family that founded it in 1950. While the industry has changed a great deal since then, Carnegie’s principles have not. Carnegie believes there are no substitutes for innovation, service and integrity. To all at Carnegie, creating textiles means much more than weaving yarn into fabrics.

In the 21st century, making the right decisions for the environment is the new integrity in business. Carnegie believes that even one company can make a difference. Leading by example they hope others will think critically about the materials we all design and use.

Carnegie understands that designers want to make the best decisions possible for creating healthy interior environments; this is why they constantly search for the latest environmentally sound materials each and every day. While Carnegie understands the latest certifications and codes, they believe there is a great deal more to know and discover. When sourcing new developments, Carnegie asks themselves the hard questions and seek honest answers. They use elements of sound reasoning, logic and common sense to help drive all their research. Carnegie remains the only textile/wallcovering company in this industry to have a PVC (vinyl) free policy.
